Slavros DRG Drainage Geocomposite
Drainage geocomposite is a high-performance and low-cost alternative to traditional crushed-stone drainage systems. The drainage geocomposite uses a 3D geomesh.
The mesh has a bulging honeycomb structure with diamond-shaped cells formed by two overlaid, intercrossing threads.
The intercrossing threads form overlaid sets of continuous deep channels, which enable high fluid seepage. Non-woven filtering fabric (PNIS M-160 geotextile) is attached to the mesh on both sides.
Advantages of Slavros DRG geocomposite:
• Resistant to effects of ultraviolet rays.
• Resistant to effects of exhaust gases.
Applications:
• Tunnels and underground structures.
• Shopping centers, parking areas, gardens and sports fields.
• Road beds.
• Drainage for the subballast layer of railway lines.
• Protection for pipeline insulation.
• Pipeline ballasting.
• Reinforcing layers in filtering systems.
• Drainage layers in embankments and reinforced soil structures.
• Filtration coefficient in the composite plane at 20 kPa load is 500 m/day, which is equivalent to a 10-15cm layer of crushed stone.
