Slavros SO Monoaxial Mesh
Slavros SO polymer road geomesh is manufactured by extrusion of low- and high-pressure polyethylene with subsequent monoaxial orienting in compliance with applicable technical-regulatory standards. Geomeshes with various stress tolerances from 25 to 110 kN/m are available (selection depends on calculations for specific projects).
The meshes have a lifetime of at least 30 years, provided that they are properly laid.
Applications of Slavros SO geomesh:
• Reduction of construction site area.
• Reduction of the amount of imported filler, which is required, and possibility of substitution by local soil.
• Effective for erection of an embankment on a weak base, since the mesh makes it unnecessary to build viaducts on piles and to replace soft base soils with high-quality imported filler.

• Effective for reinforcement of ground structures during construction of retaining walls and bridge abutments.
